1909 Hudson-Fulton celebration.  Two covers, each w/2c Wash-Franklin issue.  Covers with promotional design using allegorical figure flanked by Fulton and Hudson.  One advert is for "Hawley and Hoops confectioners", other for the Hotel Astor.  Latter is 9/25/09, first day of exposition.  9/9/9 cover has multicolored label for hard candles on reverse, tied by Keokuk Iowa rec. stamp.  Fabulous pair.
