1463300 1948 Kellogg's Pep. 1948 Box of Kellogg's Pep. Excellent Condition.

 

8.5" tall box is missing top and bottom flaps but is o/w complete. ©1948 Superman Inc. Front of box has ad for Pep pins including images for Superman, Little Orphan Annie and Moon Mullins pins. One side panel has another ad listing 18 Pep pins and shows examples of Daddy Warbucks and Chester Gump w/beanie cap. Back panel features 8-panel "Superman" comic strip from a numbered series of at least 12. This is #4, "Superman And The Menace Of The Man-Made Lightning" and features Superman's arch-nemesis Lex Luthor. Back panel also mentions the Mutual Network Superman radio program. Box has even lt. aging. While missing top and bottom and neatly slice along one corner, box can be easily assembled for display. Fine. Scarce.
