With forty tipped-in color plates by Dulac protected by captioned tissue guards.  Publisher's full vellum gilt. Top edge gilt. Other two edges uncut. Front cover bowing. Three-quarter-inch tear at the top of the front hinge. Boards a bit dust-soiled. Scattered minor foxing, mostly limited to the initial pages. One small chip to the page to which the frontispiece is mounted. Lacking ties. Overall, a near fine copy of a Dulac tour-de-force.
