Flight Covers. 1937 Trans-Pacific first flight covers, San Francisco-Honolulu and back, with intermediate stops including Macao-Hong Kong, Honolulu Guam etc., U.S., Hong Kong, Philippines and Macao franking, collection of 29 different, some cacheted, addressed to H.A.Robinette, some with adhesive toning where address label was removed, otherwise fine-v.f.

 

This collection comprises all 29 legs of the inaugural Pan Am trans-pacific service as it existed in April 1937.  FAM 14-10 to FAM 14-16 are all first flights with proper cachets.  FAM 14-1 to FAM-6 were originally flown in 1935, but are represented with 1937 flights for completeness.  An extremely difficult set to assemble.
