50c Columbian.  Sc 240.  Bottom margin imprint, letter "S" and plate "No 77" strip of four.  Rich luxuriant color, full o.g., some hinge reinforcing in bottom selvage, light cornere crease in bottom l. selvage only.  Owner's handstamp on back of r. stamp.  Fine and handsome example of this very scarce plate strip.  Ex Shreves 6/11/4, Lot 1412.
