1461900 1951 Miscellaneous. When Worlds Collide. Three Associated items.

 

Lot of three items released at the time of the original release of the 1951 sci-fi film produced by George Pal and directed by Rudolph Maté. Lot includes 8.5x11" original final draft of the film's script, 12-3/8x15" pressbook from the original release and 4.75x12.5x1-1/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid label depicting "The 'Zyra' Space Ship" for which the box once contained parts for Jetex 50 motor-powered model by Wilmot, Mansour & Co. Ltd. Script shows some scattered lt. wear/aging and is VF. Pressbook has 24 pages and features numerous ad mats and several photos/images from the film as well as promotional text and section of "Facts Of Unusual Interest..." concerning the possibility of events from the film actually happening. Pinch creases along spine w/some scattered aging to covers. Fine/VF overall. Model box shows aging/wear to applied label at upper left of lid and box itself has some scattered wear. Fine.
