Outcault's famous Buster Brown Sunday pages that first appeared in the New York Herald newspaper. Color pages are printed on front side, w/top half of Sunday page on first sheet and bottom half on following page. Title page has specialty art of Buster pulling on running pig's tail as Tige follows behind. Front cover has small vintage bookstore sticker at lower left. Covers show lt. handling wear and age w/some corner surface paper rubs. Covers are Fine overall. Pages are lightly aged and show some corner tip wear. VF overall. An exceptional copy in much higher grade than typically found. A key book in the Buster Platinum Age bibliography.
