Hamlet.  Roycroft press.  East Aurora, NY Roycroft Shop.  1902.  Quarto (260x200mm)  Contemporary half brown morocco over marbled paper boards, decorative gilt spine, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers.  A very nice copy in a handsome binding.  One of a limited edition of only 100 numbered copies (this is number 58) printed on Imperial Japan Vellum and signed by Elbert Hubbard, founder of the Roycroft artison community.  An attractive example of Roycroft presswork; the titlepage border and headbands were designed by Samuel Warner; Otto Franz and Andrews Andrews were responsible for overseeing the prinbting.  Minnie Tisdale handcolored the ornaments and the edition is also signed by her and she has drawn the Roycroft colophon on the page stating limitation.
